Nigeria Disburses ₦38.93 Billion to 166 Public Tertiary Institutions

On 25 October 2026, Nigeria’s Federal Government disbursed ₦38.93 billion under the Needs Assessment Revitalisation Fund to 166 public tertiary institutions, including ₦28.5 billion for 79 universities, ₦5.8 billion for 46 polytechnics and ₦4.7 billion for 41 colleges of education. The funding creates opportunities for campus infrastructure, digital learning and institutional technology upgrades.
