On 26 October, the African Development Bank confirmed a USD 1 million grant supporting South Africa’s Just Energy Transition Skilling for Employment Programme, which aims to connect renewable-energy investment with employment opportunities, inclusive training and green-economy skills. The programme includes research and skills-demand planning, creating potential demand for sustainability measurement, environmental data analysis and workforce-impact reporting.
